Mr. Kikuchi's Size & Safety Guide

Choosing the right size should feel exciting, not stressful.

When I design a toy, I am not only thinking about the number on the size chart. I am thinking about how a real body receives pressure, how it relaxes, how it refuses, and how it slowly learns a new shape.

The best size is not the biggest one you can imagine.
The best size is the one your body can welcome today with confidence, relaxation, and control.

Please read this guide carefully before choosing or using a product.

Kikuchi® products are intended for adults only. Do not use our products if you are under 18 years old or under the age of majority in your place of residence.

1. Start From Your Current Comfort Level

Before choosing a size, ask yourself one simple question:

What size can I enjoy comfortably right now?

Not the size you hope to take someday.
Not the size someone else can take.

If you are new or unsure, I recommend starting with XS or S. Your first toy should feel approachable, easy to guide, and never intimidating.

If you already play regularly, M or L may be a better choice, especially if you understand how your body responds to girth, depth, texture, and pressure.

If you are experienced with large toys, fisting, or deep play, XL and larger sizes may be suitable — but only with proper warm-up, patience, and control.

If you are between two sizes, I always recommend choosing the smaller one first.

A comfortable first experience is better than an ambitious toy that stays unused.

2. Do Not Judge Only by the Biggest Number

Some toys look larger than they actually feel.

Maximum diameter is only one part of the experience. Shape, taper, softness, firmness, compression, texture, and insertable length all change how the body receives the toy.

This is why I do not design only by numbers.

A soft raised detail may look large in measurement, but compress under pressure. A smooth firm toy with the same diameter may feel much more direct. A long taper may feel easier than a short sudden stretch, even if the final size is larger.

When you choose, look at these things together:

Max diameter / max circumference
The widest visual measurement.

Insertable length
How deep the toy may go.

Shape and taper
How gradually the toy opens your body.

Softness, firmness, and compression
Watch the videos on each product page, or our official platform such as X and Youtube, to understand how much the toy gives, supports, or resists when pressure is applied.

My Note on each product page
There is what I've designed the toy for. Two toys with the same diameter can affect and feel completely different.

The number tells you where the widest point is.
The shape tells you how your body will meet it.

3. Choose Pressure, Not Panic

The right size should give you pressure, fullness, and excitement.

It should not make you panic before you even begin.

A good size usually feels like:

comfortable pressure;
steady progress;
controlled breathing;
enough challenge to stay exciting;
no sharp pain;
no need to force.

A size may be too big for now if you feel:

sharp pain;
numbness;
bleeding;
lasting soreness;
fear before starting;
the need to push through strong resistance.

Your body is not failing when it says no.

It is giving you information.

Listen to it.

In my experience, progress does not come from endurance and winning against your body. Progress comes from understanding what the body is ready to receive next.

4. Huge and Advanced Toys

Some Kikuchi Toys are designed for serious stretch, entrance expansion, depth exploration, or advanced sensation.

These toys require patience, preparation, and responsible judgment. They are not suitable for beginners or for users who are unsure about their limits.

For huge or advanced toys, do not look only at the final size. Consider the whole path: the head, the widest point, the taper, the length, the firmness, and how long your body needs to adapt.

Do not attempt to take the full size at once.

If you are not fully confident that a toy’s size, shape, and firmness are within your personal limits, do not use it.

A serious toy should be respected before it is used.

5. My Simple Rule

If you are unsure, size down.

You can always build up.

You can enjoy a smaller toy with more control, longer sessions, and better relaxation.

But if a toy feels too intimidating, you may never enjoy it properly.

Progression is not about proving something.

It is about building trust with your body.

For me, a good session is not the session where the largest toy goes in.
A good session is the one where the body learns something new and still feels safe afterward.

6. Use Slowly and Never Force

Never force a toy into your body.

Use enough lubricant, go slowly, and allow your body time to adjust. Do not rush the first insertion of each session.

If the toy stops moving smoothly, pause. Add more lubricant, breathe, change position, or stop the session.

Stop immediately if you experience:

sharp pain;
strong discomfort;
numbness;
bleeding;
dizziness;
unusual pressure;
loss of control;
any reaction that feels unsafe.

Strong discomfort is a warning signal. Do not push through pain.

Using a product beyond your experience, capacity, or comfort level may result in injury.

A toy should follow the body’s opening.
It should not be forced through the body’s resistance.

7. Lubricant

Always use a sufficient amount of lubricant.

Kikuchi Toys are made from 100% platinum-cured silicone. For general use, I recommend water-based lubricant, such as Mr. Kikuchi’s Lube, unless the product page says otherwise.

For large toys, lubricant is not just an accessory. It is part of the experience. A good lubricant reduces unnecessary friction, helps the shape move more smoothly, and gives the body more time to relax around pressure.

Avoid silicone-based lubricants unless you have confirmed compatibility through a safe patch test. Some lubricant formulas may damage silicone surfaces, causing tackiness, swelling, softening, or other material changes.

Do not use harsh chemicals, alcohol, or unsafe substances as lubricant.

Do not use numbing products or desensitizing products. Pain and pressure are important warning signals. Reducing your ability to feel them can increase the risk of injury.

Do not mix lubricant types unless you are sure they are compatible with both the toy and your body.

8. Inspect Before Use

Inspect the entire product before each use.

Do not use the product if you notice:

cracks;
flaking;
deformation;
unusual stickiness;
contamination;
strange odor;
damaged surface;
any other sign of material damage.

Do not modify, cut, pierce, burn, freeze, or alter the product in any way.

Using a damaged product may increase the risk of injury, infection, or product failure.

A toy is designed as a complete structure.
Once that structure is damaged or changed, it should not be trusted in the same way.

9. Cleaning and Storage

Clean your toy before and after every use.

Wash with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Dry completely with a clean, soft cloth or paper towel before storing.

Do not use hazardous chemicals, alcohol, bleach, abrasive cleaners, or strong solvents.

Store your toys in a clean, dry place away from dust, heat, sharp objects, and direct sunlight.

Do not store silicone toys in direct contact with PVC, TPE, TPR, latex, or other unknown materials, as material reactions may occur.

If sharing a toy with another person, use a suitable barrier and clean the product thoroughly before and after use.

Good care is not only about keeping the toy clean.
It also protects the material, the surface, and your body.

10. Health and Medical Conditions

Do not use our products if you are experiencing pain, injury, infection, bleeding, inflammation, or any medical condition that may make use unsafe.

Consult a qualified medical professional before use if you:

have had recent surgery;
have hemorrhoids, fissures, wounds, or irritation;
have rectal, anal, pelvic, or other relevant health concerns;
have a history of tearing, prolapse, severe pain, or bleeding;
are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are recovering after childbirth;
have heart, respiratory, neurological, or circulation-related conditions;
are unsure whether a product is appropriate for your body.

If you experience serious pain, bleeding, injury, or any medical concern during or after use, seek medical attention promptly.

Your body’s condition on one day may not be the same as another day.
Respect that difference.

11. Substance Use and Judgment

Do not use our products while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair your judgment, coordination, pain response, or ability to stop safely.

Safe use requires clear judgment and body awareness.

If you cannot clearly feel your body, control your movement, or decide when to stop, it is not the right time to use an advanced toy.

12. User Responsibility

Kikuchi® product descriptions, size charts, and educational content are provided for general guidance only.

Everyone’s body, experience, and response are different. We do not guarantee any specific result, sensation, progress, or level of comfort.

By choosing and using Kikuchi Toys, you are responsible for reading product information carefully, choosing an appropriate size, using sufficient lubricant, cleaning and inspecting products properly, and stopping immediately if use becomes painful, unsafe, or uncomfortable.

Failure to follow usage and safety guidance may result in injury, infection, product damage, or other harm.

This guide is not medical advice and should not replace guidance from a qualified medical professional.

For me, responsibility is part of progression.
The more advanced the toy becomes, the more important patience and judgment become.
