Thorn Totem uses raised thorn-like textures around a totem-shaped body to create an artwork delivering stronger sense of contact as the toy moves. The texture is not made to scratch or hurt, it is to give your hole more raised SENSATION to feel.

Its DualDensity™ structure keeps the totem steadily supported from the inside, while the softer outer layer makes the thorns feel more rounded and flexible. This balance structure allows the toy to stay readable without becoming too aggressive.

Although Thorn Totem looks much larger than a smooth toy, the outer thorns are intentionally made very soft. They compress easily under pressure, allowing the body to meet the core shape first instead of the full decorative profile. The listed measurements below include the raised thorns. The central totem body is noticeably smaller, making entry much easier than the measurements alone might suggest.

What is Kikuchi® DualDensity™?

Dual density means two silicone firmnesses in one toy: a softer outer layer with a firmer supportive core.

Compared with other structures, Kikuchi® DualDensity™ Silicone Design allows the head to stay very soft without making the whole toy too floppy. The softer tip and surface make first contact gentler and less poking. The firmer inner core gives the toy enough support to enter more smoothly, stay in place with less slipping out, and move with better control.

If one Kikuchi Toy uses two silicone densities or more, it will be marked as DualDensity™ SILICONE DESIGN on the poster above. Single-density toys will be marked as PLATINUM-CURED SILICONE.

Mr. Kikuchi's Note

When I designed Thorn Totem, I wanted something beautiful but I was not trying to make a toy that simply feels rough and raised randomly.

Texture can easily become too much especially on a firm toy. If every raised detail is hard, sharp, or random, the body only feels stress. That was not the purpose of Thorn Totem. I wanted the beautiful thorns to create signals, not pain. I hope the user can feel the surface moving, pressing, and releasing as the rod goes deeper.

DualDensity™ Silicone Design makes this design possible. The inner support keeps the totem body stable, so the shape does not collapse or lose direction, even when it comes to size XL. The soft outer layer makes the thorns more forgiving and playable, so the texture feels actually gentle.

The measurements in the size chart look intimidating because they include the outer thorns. That is intentional, but it is also misleading if you only look at the numbers. The thorns are decoration and sensation, not the main load-bearing structure. They compress very easily when entering, so the totem body is guided by the smaller central totem instead of the full outer profile.

It is not the first toy I would choose for someone who only wants gentle warm-up. It has great personality. It asks the user to move slowly and listen to every layer of contact. It is actually used the most widely in fetish bar/parties performances.

I wanted users to experience a dramatic fantasy shape without paying the full price of that visual size during entry. Once inside, the soft thorns gradually recover their shape and begin creating the layered sensation they were designed for.
