About Kikuchi®
DESIGNED THROUGH USE, NOT GUESSWORK.
Kikuchi® was founded in 2020 by Mr. Kikuchi, building on years of hands-on experience in silicone-toy manufacturing, materials and product development.
He is not only a designer. He is also an experienced user.
That matters because many Kikuchi products begin with something noticed through actual use — a limitation in an existing design, a sensation worth exploring, a need for different support, or simply a form we wanted to make better.
The starting point is not:
“What can we make next?”
It is:
“What do we want this product to do or feel like — and what would make it worth making?”
STRUCTURE FOLLOWS PURPOSE.
Every Kikuchi product is made from 100% platinum-cured silicone.
Some designs work best as a single piece of silicone. Others use DualDensity™ or multi-density construction, combining a softer surface with more supportive internal structures.
We do not apply the same formula to every product.
Shape, firmness, internal support, flexibility and surface feel are chosen according to what the design is meant to achieve.
Technology matters only when it improves the product.
TWO DIRECTIONS. DIFFERENT GOALS.
The Stretch System is built around progression.
Rather than repeating one toy at increasingly larger sizes, it brings together different approaches to gradual width progression, sustained girth, control and advanced depth.
Some users need a taper. Others need more support, more width, a different hold, or a form better suited to depth.
The Signature Forms explores sensation from another direction.
Texture, contour, softness, movement and contact can all change how a toy feels in use. Some designs begin with a particular sensation. Others begin with realism, proportion, movement, or simply a form we wanted to explore and refine.
The reason can be different. The product still has to earn its place.
FROM IDEA TO PROTOTYPE.
Mr. Kikuchi leads product design.
An idea may begin with something noticed during use, a sensation worth developing, a form we wanted to refine, or a construction idea we wanted to test.
From there, prototypes are made, used and adjusted.
Sometimes the proportions change. Sometimes the firmness changes. Sometimes the internal support has to be rebuilt. Sometimes the idea works differently in silicone than it did on paper.
And sometimes it simply is not good enough.
Not every prototype needs to become a product.
What matters is whether the finished design is worth keeping.
DESIGNED AND MADE IN-HOUSE.
Kikuchi develops and manufactures its silicone products in-house.
Keeping design, prototyping, material development and production close together means a product can continue evolving throughout the process rather than being reduced to a finished drawing handed to an unrelated factory.
It also gives us direct control over silicone materials, firmness, internal structures, molding and finishing.
Rock O’Yang is co-founder of Kikuchi and leads international branding, partnerships and overseas development, bringing Kikuchi products — and the thinking behind them — to users outside China.
MADE WITH A REASON.
We are not interested in adding products simply to make the range look bigger.
Some products begin with a specific problem. Some with a particular sensation. Some with a construction idea. And sometimes a familiar concept simply deserves to be made better — through structure, softness, realism, proportion or finish.
The reason does not have to be the same.
The standard does.
Designed through use. Refined through testing. Made with a reason.
